baked plasticine arms

ran out of clear plasticine so painted a base colour over both heads

wire framing, twisted with drill. about a metre long. moulded together with putty. screws on feet to screw figure onto as scene.

next step, fill out mass, either with two pieces of foam sandwiching the wire body, and then cutting into. or constructive sculpting methods like sewing stuffed body suit and muscles, or felt

chair made out of wire and fimo. baked in oven. mixed media approach. come back to this for stop motion end scene.

notes on chairmaking:

bake fimo separately to wire so that there is a better structure support. no sag

twist wire inwards when bending round the seat and legs wire.

When tracing the chair images to make a boil, outlining them with the onion skin layer colours reminded me of on of the chair reference images I used in the moodboard. I wanted to document them to potentially open up ideas about colour schemes in the future interim.
